UK Based Nigerian Pastor Allegedly Arrested For Theft, Credit Card Fraud, Scamming



A UK based Nigerian pastor alongside three others have been arrested by the London Metropolitan Police, on allegations bothering on credit card fraud, scam and armed robbery.


According to a statement allegedly issued by the London Police, March 18, 2018, the self acclaimed Pastor Samson Friday Irobo, General overseer of the Power of God Ministry, London, UK was arrested following a technical intelligence by men of the m15.

Other suspects arrested in association with the crime includes; Helen Gbemi Ogundimu,Toyin Aderogba, otherwise known as, toxy tee, Tolulope Adeoye fondly called, abike jagawerey.

Their arrest was a breakthrough in an ongoing investigation on multiple car theft, stolen credit cards and cheques.

The effort of the Police paid off, when a member of the  ''AJ team '' otherwise called,   Omoaye in diaspora; a gang of cyber criminals, was at the Santander Bank to cash a stolen cheque, the bank teller is said to have alerted the police, who subsequently tracked the suspect to the resident of Pastor Irobo.

It is alleged that upon interrogation, Pastor Samson confessed that he belonged to a 3-man gang of  robbers who specialises in burglary, he was also involved in the Omoaye group, selling stolen properties at a giveaway price.

Tolulope Adeoye is alleged to have confessed selling credit cards worth thousands of pounds to Irobo, who usually paid £200 per card, irrespective of the balance therein.
The group is said to have been taken into custody and awaiting arraignment.
