32-Year-Old Abigail Nwakama, AKA Madam Cash, Arrested While Trafficking 5 Children Interstate.


The Police State Headquarters, Asaba, Delta State, has apprehended a group of human trafficking syndicate operating between Asaba and Anambra State.

The leader of the group, Abigail Nwakama, fondly called ''madam cash'' disguises her trade with a ''beer parlour business'' situated at abortion junction, before St. Brigds, Delta State.

Upon interrogation, madam cash confessed to security operatives, that she works closely with 48-year-old Pastor Chinedu Strongson presiding pastor at Gospel Fire Ministry, Nkwele-Ogidi, Anambra State.

Pst Chinedu serves as a middle man, exchanging N400,000 for each child delivered to him through Abigail, thereafter selling at a higher price to desperate ''expectant parents''.

Luck however ran out of the group, when security operatives working on an intelligence report arrested Abigail, who later led them to the home of Pastor Chinedu in Anambra State, where 12 suspected stolen children were recovered.





Members of the group arrested include, 21-year-old Nnoruka Obioma, Chike  Agwunenu, 55, Chidinma Anikwesiri, 21, Ifeoma Anyadike, 32, and 22-year-old Adaeze Enyi.

The police is said to have re-united some of the stolen children with their parents, while 10 others have been sent to St Barnabas Orphanage Asaba pending identification by their families.
