A True Hero: Meet Francis, The Brave Boy Who Rescued His Little Brother That Fell Into A Deep Well

To be a hero, you need not possess supernatural powers. Not every time we see or hear of a hero, even when we do, they probably are physically endowed to carry out a heroic act.


But when a 9-year-old risks his life to rescue his little brother of 3, then he is worthy to be called a hero, he should be celebrated.

Francis Akachukwu Eze, was home with his elder sister and little brother, when the latter fell into a well not less than 6ft deep.

Enveloped by the love of his brother, young Francis began to scream, my brother must not die, he must not die.
A neighbour who was present at the scene tried to stop him from getting into the well, but his elder sister trusted her instincts he could do it. Probably she was not new to young Francis' heroic deeds.

Without waiting for help to come, the brave young man got into the well and made the rescue.
