Edo Girl Arrested In India While Transporting Hard Drugs From One City To Another


Ehimen Ruth, 25-year-old Edo indigene has been nabbed by the India security operatives while attempting to transport substances suspected to be hard drug  from an India suburb to Goa.


The Narcotics Control Bureau Ahmedabad, working on an intelligence report, intercepted the train, 12450 NDLS-Madgoan, Goa Sampark Kranti, conveying the suspect, immediately it arrived at the Vadodara railway station.

Ruth Ehimen was arrested with 404 grams of Amphetamine, carefully wrapped and concealed in two boxes of Domino biscuit.

The suspect is said to have packed the drugs with scotch tape in an attempt to disguise the content in the box.

When STB tried to get more information about the arrest, the rumour making the rounds in the Nigeria community, Mumbai, India is that Ms Ruth few weeks ago had an argument with a fellow Nigerian, who is alleged to have facilitated her travel to India.
We also gathered that the said ''benefactor'' was into the drug trade, Ruth after cutting ties with her ''boss'' few weeks ago, double crossed the said Nigerian, who in turn made any anonymous call to security operatives, leaking details of when Ruth would be transporting ''consignment'' and her destination.
