It should be recalled that after the Dammy Krane credit card saga, Lola Margaret Oladipupo,a popular Yoruba actress, was the next to be linked with Fraud in the US.
Ms Oladipupo was arrested by the Atlanta sheriff department, while making fraudulent withdrawals from her account.
The actress is said to have made numerous withdrawals of funds transferred into her account from an individual who was a victim of phishing scam, unknown to the suspects, the victim who had discovered thousands of dollars was transferred from his bank account, immediately alerted the police, through his bank.
The identity of the scam victim had been stolen and unidentified persons working with the actress transferred thousands of dollars from the unsuspecting victim's account into that of the Yoruba actress.
It was while making one of such withdrawals from her account, she was rounded up by officers of the Atlanta sheriff department
The actress confessed to security operatives, revealing the identities of her accomplices. She was arrested and subsequently released on bail.
After interrogating other parties involved in the crime, law enforcement were able ascertain the level of the actress's involvement .
She was again taken into custody, and just recently she was deported to Nigeria.
Since her arrival, the popular face in Yoruba movie scene has been avoiding public functions.
She is rumoured to have moved from her apartment in Lagos, to Ibadan, where she is keeping a low profile.
