The heart of man, they say is desperately wicked! what else could be used to justify the harrowing experience of an innocent infant placed in the custody of a domestic help?.
An Instagram user with handle @desolaafod posted a sickening video of a young girl who works as a house girl for a Lagos family being quizzed for feeding her boss' infant with dishwashing liquid; morning fresh.
When asked why she had attempted to poison the baby with the liquid soap, the visibly frightened underage maid said it was because she wanted to leave the said boss.
As expected, there was a mixed reactions from social media users, judging from their comments on the post, some blamed the boss for employing the services of a little girl, calling it child abuse.
Some commenters stood a neutral round, although admitting how wickedly the act of the house girl was, pointed out that, at that age; possibly between 10-13yrs, the maid should be in school and not being employed as a domestic staff.
The maid was too young to cater for a 5-month-old baby, calling it a case of a child taking care of a child; which is unacceptable.
Others who took sides with the mother of the child addressed the maid with numerous unmentionable names, some insinuating she was possessed with some sort of evil spirits and required deliverance.
