Federal Road Safety Officer Arrested For Defiling 9-Year-Old Girl Multiple Times

A member of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Benue State, is currently languishing in  cell, after he was caught pants down with a minor inside a vehicle.

The father of the victim, simply identified as Mr A, narrating to reporters how the incident unfolded , stated that, he just returned home from a trip, February 25, 2018, at about 7pm, when his neighbour, Mrs Charles Ali, walked into the compound in company of a young girl; who supports the family by hawking groundnut.

The neighbour pointed at Mr A, saying, ''this is the girl's father''. While still trying to figure out what was going on, Mr Ali joined them in the compound.

It was at this point, Mrs Ali reported to the victim's father, that she had caught her husband, Mr Ali, being intimate with the little girl, inside a car. She went further to claim, it was not the first time Mr Ali was committing such an atrocity, she had warned him to desist from it, but he wouldn't listen.

Although Mr Ali tried to deny having carnal knowledge of the minor, but an eye witness was quick to cut in, saying '' you did it, i saw you when you were doing it''.

While deliberating on the the incident, another neighbour walked in, corroborating the little girl's story, saying he overheard Mr Ali begging the little girl not to reveal what she saw to anyone, the neighbour, identified as Mr Moses Terngu, speaking in Tiv dialect explained to the victim's father, he was sure Mr Ali must have committed an unpardonable crime, for him to have been begging the witness with such intensity.

The victim's father requested that Moses repeats what he just narrated to him in English, which he did, to the surprise of other neighbours, who were still in doubt if the married officer would have committed such an act.

The officer after been quizzed by neighbours, broke down in tears, apologising and asking for forgiveness.

The victim was later taken to the hospital where it was confirmed that the minor had been molested.

Mr A thereafter reported the incident to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, who took statements from the victim's father and effected the arrest of  Mr Ali.
