British Man Marries His Gorgeous Edo Bride In Style

Former Miss Imuetiyan Bernadette Iyawe and her heartthrob, Robert Hopkins of Battersea and Notting Hill, tied the knot in style, embracing the rich culture of Benin Kingdom.



The traditional marriage performed according to the Benin Native Law and Custom, saw close friends and family of the couple in attendance.

The colorful ceremony which took place February 24, 2018 in London could be said to be a blend of culture and class.
The beautiful, ebony, Edo bride was all smiles as she became Mrs Hopkins.

The ceremony was anchored by Dr Taiwo Idemudia, kicked off 15:15 hrs with an opening prayer by the bride and groom's family.

Followed by the official breaking of kolanuts, the groom's family stating their intentions, the parade of lovely ladies to tease the groom, till he identifies his wife, to the payment of the bride price, nothing was missed at the event.

After finalizing the marriage rites, and formal handing over of  Mrs Imuetiyan Hopkins  to her husband's family,  guest were treated to sumptuous meals and drinks while advice were given to the couple.
