Two Nigerians Arrested In South Africa For Printing Fake Currencies.


The South Africa security operatives have apprehended two Nigeria nationals, Chinedu Igali and Osadolor Emmanuel residing in Cape town.

The police raided their residence in Long Street, following an  intelligence report. 
According to the officials of the South Africa police district, Cape town, a currency printing machine, stash of fake local and foreign currency; US Dollars. Pounds Sterling and Euros bills, were recovered during the time of the arrest.

The suspects confessed to the crime, pleading for mercy, informing officers that they usually corrupt bundles of clean bills with fake currency, and would make purchase of expensive electronics from unsuspecting traders.

According to police, their arrest was a breakthrough on an ongoing investigation related to the increase of fake currency circulation in Cape Town .

The Nigerians were arrested in a remote area; Long Street and Adderley, after being monitored for some time. They would be prosecuted for financial money laundering and fraud.
