Victor Onodavwerho is cooling off in jail,after diverting twenty million Naira belonging to the Edo State Universal Basic Education Board to fund his personal hotel project.
The former relationship manager attached with the United Bank for Africa, UBA is said to have forged the letter headed paper of the Edo State UBEB to impersonate and divert the sum of N20,000,000.
Onodavwerho was arraigned on a four-count charge bordering on money laundering.
Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court, sitting in Asaba, Delta State delivering judgement found the accused guilty of all the charges brought against him,sentencing him to one year imprisonment on each of the four counts. With each sentence to run concurrently.
