Nigerian Woman Arrested In India For Allegedly Beating Up Police Officer

An unidentified Nigerian girl, living in India has been arrested by security operatives for allegedly assaulting a police officer.


Constable Anand of the KG Halli Police station, Bengaluru, is said to have been slapped numerous times by the young woman.

The incident which occurred on January 18, 2018 was thereafter reported to the the police district.

In an eye witness account, the unidentified Nigerian girl was under the influence of alcohol, lingering around the vicinity, with no purpose.

The Police on duty noticing a visibly intoxicated woman, proceeded to interrogate her. During the course of questioning, the young lady became very aggressive and was said to have struck the police officer with her palm, several times.
