3 Children Locked In A Parked Car Die Of Suffocation
Three preschoolers between the ages of two and four have been confirmed dead by the Kano State Police command.
Briefing news men on the incident, The spokesperson for the command, Magaji Majiya, stated that the little girls died as a result of asphyxiation.
He further narrated that the children were last seen playing around a vehicle which has been off the road and abandoned at the Sabon Gari region of Kano State. Later found dead inside the locked vehicle, they assumed the children may have gotten into the vehicle on their own while playing and was unable to get out.
They did not suspect any foul play, but have commenced investigation into the matter.
The unfortunate event which was said to have happened at about 3 p.m. on Friday, claimed the lives of 3 innocent children and one miraculous survival.
The victim who survived is in an undisclosed hospital and currently responding to treatment.
