Members of a church in Abia State is currently setting the Nigeria cyberspace into a media frenzy, claiming that the General Overseer of their church, Pastor Anderson Chinenye who was certified dead has resurrected.
According to the excited flocks, Pastor Chinenye who gave up the ghost after an unsuccessful heart surgery, was certified medically dead by doctors at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Umuahia.
To the astonishment of sympathisers and to the glory of God, the pastor is said to have woken up just when his corpse was being deposited at the mortuary.
Before the news of his alleged resurrection broke up, his younger sister, Oluchi Chinenye, took to his Facebook page to announce the sad news of her brother's demise. Urging his followers to join her in prayers for the deceased, stating that although doctors has certified him dead, she knows God can still do something.
Less than a few hours after her post, church members took to their various social media handle, thanking God and celebrating Pastor Anderson's resurrection.
A particular member, Gloria Ajims, who could not contain her joy, came on Facebook live video to celebrate the alleged resurrection. She narrated how an army of Jesus, Anderson Chinenye died the previous day and came back to life 24-hours later,she was praising God, quoting bible verses and emphasizing how grateful she was to a part of those who experienced the awesome miracle.
