Mobile policemen attached to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has allegedly dehumanised an unidentified road user, in the presence of his partner, while going about this normal day.
According to Facebook user, Theophilus Utchaychukwu, the man was severely rough handled and his vehicle vandalised by the security detail of Governor wike.
The incident which occurred earlier today at Ada-George, in the States Capital, Port Harcourt saw sympathisers in their two's and three's, lamenting on the incessant brutalisation from the State Police and taking pictures of the victim, as well as his damaged car.
This is coming few days after a similar incident occurred in Edo State, where a young man was pushed to his death by security operatives, over refusal to give an officer a N1,000 bribe.
In an unusual coincidence, the deceased who was said to be in the company of his partner was flagged down by a policeman, demanding to see his vehicle registration documents. Unsatisfied with the papers presented to him, the police man ordered the driver out of the bus, asking for N1,000 bribe before he would let him go.
Disembarking from the vehicle, the police officer was said to have pushed the driver unto an oncoming truck, which crushed the driver to death.
The erring officer managed to escape from the scene, leaving the patrol van behind, which was burnt down by angry onlookers.
Speaking to first res-ponders, the victim's partner narrated how the incident unfolded and called on government to help her get justice.
