The Nigeria Customs Service on Friday 9 February 2018 posted pictures of one of their own who sustained life threatening injuries in the line of duty.The unnamed officer was trying to intercept a vehicle being smuggled through the creek, more photos after the cut.

Some jobs are risky, but a few are riskier than the others. When your job entails upholding the law, you have to be ready for the unforeseen, as criminals would not readily give up without a fight.
A speedy recovery to the injured officer!
