Nigerian movies are now of international standard with major film makers breaking bank on top movies as the profits keep rolling in.
Nollywood is giving Hollywood a run for it's money!It is unarguably true that our Nigerian actors have improved greatly from the days of ghost looking cautiously before crossing the road, to avoid being hit by a moving vehicle.


Here is a list of Nollywood blockbusters you have to see, if you haven't already.


BOUND

Bound is an interesting romantic drama, starred by one of our favourite actresses, Rita Dominic. The story centers on a 35-year-old spinster,Chinenye, who has everything going on for her,with a flourishing career and astonishing beauty gets mocked by her family due to her inability to get married.The movie is filled with suspense, it's a must see!


                                                                           LOTAANA

Produced by Ifan Ifeanyi Micheal and directed by Toka McBaror, This movie is about a young man who discovered at an early age while struggling to achieve his dreams as a musician that he has a debt of N20 Million  owed to a mysterious stranger called Don Creflo by his late father. He goes through a myriad of trials and challenges that stand to either break him or make him; aided by an unbreakable resolve to succeed.

This is yet to be released, but after seeing the trailer, i had to add it to this list.Produced by FilmOne and Inkblot Productions, it features Kate Henshaw,Falz the bad guy,Dakore Akande,Blossom Chukwujekwu, and much more.
New Money is about a young lady,Toun Odumosu, a salesgirl and aspiring fashion designer moving from everyday struggle to being an heiress of a massive empire.



ALL SHADES OF WRONG

In search of a better future, a young lady journeys from her village to the city, only to find herself in a terrible situation.
This movie has an array of cast you would love, from Femi Jacobs, Bimbo Ademoye, Funmi Eko, Bolaji Ogunmola, Eno Ebenezer, Ore Badmus, Banjo Simisola, Tiwa Oladigbo, Chris Biyibi and more.



                                                               THE ARBITRATION

When an Employee is being coerced by her powerful boss  to have an affair with him, the affair is bound to end someday.What happens if the Employee decides to leave the company, comes back to sue her Ex employer of rape. This and much more is what you would see in The Arbitration.
