One of President Buhari's daughter, Hanan Muhammad Buhari, shared a picture of her father on the phone. Nigerians were quick to spot the make of the phone Nigeria's number one man was using.
According to social media observers, the president was making calls with a cheap HTC M8 phone, which an average Nigerian can afford.
He was blasted for not using a more sophisticated phone.

It should be recalled that earlier this week, a photo of the President in company of his aides surfaced where Mr president was spotted being served Chivita, water and other soft drinks at an event.
Nigerians where quick to sum up the cost of all the drinks that were served at the table, some online spectators amounted it to N 2,700.

Some commended the president for not spending much on refreshment, a particular commentator wrote ''N2,700 for entertaining the number one man and his crew, this is the change i voted for''.
