Buhari And His Entourage Served Drinks Worth N 2,700 At An Event; Nigerians Commend Mr President For Not Being Extravagant

Nigeria's number one man, 75-year-old President Muhamadu Buhari has been commended by ''some'' Nigerians for his patriotism.

The President who is known for patronising only made in Nigeria products was pictured with his right hand man, Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai and other delegates  during a closed door meeting, served with locally brewed soft drinks.

Nigerians where quick to sum up the cost of the drinks on the table, amounting to 2,270 Naira. 

Smooty Chapman= 120 Naira

Peach = 150 Naira

Chi Exotic = 400 ×3 1200 Naira

Coca Cola 150×3 =450 Naira

Bottled water 70×5= 350

Total = 2, 270 Naira.

While some spectators applauded the president for not spending much on refreshment, others saw it as the highest form of hypocrisy, lamenting that the country is in disarray under his governance, millions of Naira are missing right under his nose, yet he says, he's fighting corruption.

Some social media users where quick to remind us of the wife of the president who is known to rock expensive luxury items such as a Hermes birkin bag worth $105,000 (N 40 Million), 

A £15,000 (N 8 Million) Chopard diamond wristwatch, A $10,000 Salvatore Ferragamo dress, just to mention a few.

2018, Nigerians are not smiling! Some reminded us of the lavish life style of the ''Nigeria's first family'' and the super expensive power bike crashing incident. They even went further to state the tuition fee paid by the first children towards their education in a UK university.
