In an article published by Forbes, i saw a line that reads ''a few wealthy Nigerians'' spends millions of dollars acquiring private jets. Sadly they are right, Nigerians are in constant reminder of the gap between the few elite, the middle class and the others.
One can rightly say that preachers, clergymen or if you choose to address them as successful men of God are among these few wealthy Nigerians.
We refer to them as successful men of God, in that, their counterparts may/may not possess as much financial power and command so much respect like they do.
Be it known that God is Love, his name is Jehovah and there's this outstanding quality of God that makes most people want to spiral out of control; his Mercy.
The devil and his small gods will be quick to strike one of their own, if they sense any form of disloyalty. But Jehovah in his infinity mercy continues to grant us his free and unmerited favour, waiting patiently for us to turn a new leaf.
But then, shall we continue to transgress, that grace may abound?
Well, these preachers have studied about God before taking up the ''clergyman profession''.
Preachers being among the richest citizens of Nigeria, answer right to their position, living flamboyant lives, luxurious vacations, expensive cars and not to forget the private jets!
Preachers own some of the most magnificent buildings in every State, modern hospitals, hotels, universities, the list goes on.
When they get married, she's got to be pretty. When they have side chicks, she's got to be an actress, dancer or singer.
