Redeem Christian Church Bans Members From Wearing Aso-ebi

The General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God,RCCG  Pastor and Mrs Adeboye has placed a ban on wearing of aso-ebi by it's members.

This came up during the 65th Annual convention of the church, tagged Halleluyah.

Pastor Mrs Foluke Adeboye-Mummy GO during the women's meeting at the convention
gave the order that members should henceforth not wear Aso-ebi to church functions.

Wife of the General Overseer, Pastor Foluke Adeboye stated it was ungodly for church

leaders to make it compulsory for members to wear a particular clothing when
attending church events.

I have received reports several times of members being exempted from taking part

in a particular function in church because they didn't have the designated uniform- she said.

She warned that on no account should members be compelled to wear a

uniform before they can participate in church activities and disciplinary measures
would be taken if any leader was caught acting contrary to her order.
