84-year-old Canadian woman has come out on media to show her excitement, after finding her

Mary Gram has given up hope on ever finding the ring and was more than thrilled when her daughter in-law Colleen Daley,found the ring in a carrot uprooted from their family garden.
The vegetable has found it's way and grown through the ring and was detected when Daley went to the garden to pick vegetables for the family dinner in Alberta.

Widowed Mary Gram is said to have lost her husband 5 years ago and confirmed she never
told her husband she lost the engagement ring while clearing the farm ten years prior to his death.

Colleen said she was about to throw the weird looking carrot to the dog, before she looked
