Comedian AY unveils first son and mother, amidst rumors of separation from wife, Mabel Makun

 

In the midst of rumors of his separation from his wife of more than 15 years, Mr Ayo Makun unveils his first son as he celebrates birthday.

Mr Makun, who goes by the name, Comedian AY took to his Instagram account to celebrate “his son” Denzel, who clocked 17, in Manchester, United Kingdom.

“My son is 17. May each day be a step closer to your dreams, filled with the warmth of love and new adventures. Happy birthday Denzel. Daddy loves you. See you soon”, he wrote.

Thousands of followers erred their opinions on his comment section. With some calling him out for revealing he had a son after his wife has allegedly moved out of their matrimonial home.

Some insinuated that he only posted the birthday wishes to his son to spite his wife, Mabel Makun.

Fans who seemed to have a close relationship with the family stated that the birthday celebrant in question was comedian AY’s nephew and not his biological son.

Ayo Makun and his wife got married in November 29,2008. The marriage produced two children; Michelle Makun and Ayomide Makun,  born 13 years after the older sibling.

If Denzel is 17 years old and AY married Mabel in 2008, it means he already had a 1-year-old son before entering into a union with Mabel.

It cannot be said that comedian AY had an extramarital affair that produced an offspring.

Like other celebrity marriages, the union between Ayo and Mabel has been under intense scrutiny by the public. In 2021 it was reported that Mabel Makun moved out of the home shared by the family before AY returned from a business trip abroad. The pair later came out to debunk the claim, saying the properties were only moved out to allow proper fumigations.

Mabel Makun was allegedly linked to a Warri billionaire and a regular contributor to her interior decoration company. Although she never came out to debunk the rumors, time watered down the story.

2024 came with the couple posting cryptic messages on their social media accounts, that set the idea of all not being well in their family.

Series of post by Mabel Makun on her official instagram account only fueled the speculation of the separation.

Comedian AY celebrating the birthday of “his son” has led many to believe that all is not well with the two.

It is not known for certain if Denzel is comedian AY’s biological son or a nephew who he takes the role of a father in his life.
