A Belgium based Edo priestess has taken to social media to call out community chairman and land seller, Mr Omoregbe Omoregie, who goes by the aliases ; the oduma of ovia and atm machine for allegedly defrauding her to the tune of 50 million naira.
Princess Faith Obanamen, a priestess of Olokun who shuttles between Nigeria and Belgium on a regular basis is said to have purchased a large expanse of land along the expressway in Evbonika community, Edo State, where Mr Omoregie happens to be the community chairman.
Princess Obanamen being funded by her Belgian husband intended to erect an event center in the community. As the project commenced Mrs Obanamen instructed her engineers to get the necessary paperwork from the land management offices. During processing of the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), it was discovered that Mr Omoregie had sold the land to 3 other persons , with the previous owner already securing the land and being handed a certificate of ownership by the land management office.
All efforts by Princess Obanamen to get the community chairman to resolve the dispute by either refunding or allocating another property proved unsuccessful.
Mr Omoregie, alias, ATM machine , as he’s usually called, due to his lavish spending at social gatherings, refused to do the needful. After several interventions by people who knows both parties, the community chairman instructed Mrs Obanamen to make a parameter fence on the property, which the later declined. She felt it was unwise to continue investing in a property which is under dispute and she not being recognized as the owner in government records.
With several failed attempts of trying to get Mr Omoregie settle the property dispute, Mrs Obanamen took to social media to narrate her ordeal in the hands of Mr Omoregie.
In retaliation of the call out, Mr Omoregie took to social media to allege he had carnal knowledge of Mrs Obanamen who is happily married to her Belgian husband.
He went further to claim that the property he sold to Mrs Obanamen had no dispute, that she was only trying to tarnish his image online , because he ended the affair he was having with her. He gave details of their private life while they were having an affair.
Upon realizing Mr Omoregie had divulged details of their affair online, Mrs Obanamen came out clean to explain how she met Mr Omoregie while giving handouts to the less privileged in Evbonika community. She had disbursed two trailer loads of relief materials to members of the community. It was during these times she met Mr Omoregie, who befriended her and was thankful for her kind gesture towards his people.
They struck a friendship that blossomed into an affair. She narrated how she has been financially supportive of Mr Omoregie when he fell on difficult times. In compensation of her generosity, the later had gifted her 10 plots of land. Everything seemed to be going on well with the duo until the dispute over the event center site began.
Princess Obanamen is calling on well meaning Nigerians and Edolites in particular to be aware of the atrocities that have become a norm for Mr Omoregie.
