An instagram user has shared on his page how his young nephew divorced his wife over acrylic nails done on their baby.
According to the post, his nephew who is a tech guru and doing quite well for himself got married in 2022 to the daughter of his pastor. Both couples who are in their early twenties are living a very comfortable life in the highbrow area of Lagos State.
The user went further to add that the couple own a modest 3 bedroom detached duplex, and two state of the art automobile.
Last month their baby turned 12 months and is bid to have a birthday celebration in the first week of June.
His wife requested 700,000 Naira to arrange a photo shoot for the baby, which his nephew obliged. She was going to get the baby some outfit, get her hair done and pay for the studio shoot with the money.
Unbeknownst to him, part of that money was to be used for fixing acrylic nails on the baby.
Although not pleased when he got home from his office to meet his daughter donning a lace wig and false nails, he did not have any arguments with his wife.
Two days later it’s said that the baby’s hands got swollen and she was in so much pain that she had to be taken to the hospital where she was diagnosed of withlow.
Apparently, the acrylic nails has caused the baby to pick up an infection on her fingers.
The irate father did not bother having any argument with his wife. He simply called his lawyer and asked that he initiate a divorce proceeding.
All efforts by friends and family to resolve the matter proved abortive, as he maintains his stand on getting a divorce.
The IG user made the post wanting to know if it’s enough for the nephew to divorce his wife over the matter or if there was probably an underlying reason why he took that step.
