Statements Made By Very Dark Man, Supporting Godwin Obaseki Over Oba Ewuare Of Benin Kingdom

 

There is currently a rift between Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki and the Monarch, Oba Ewuare 11 of Benin Kingdom.

Ninety nine percent of Edo indigenes are castigating the State Governor for daring to have a conflict with the highly respected monarch. However, a popular social media activist and Edolite, Mr Martins Vincent Otse, who goes by, Very Dark Black Man has openly expressed his support for the state Governor.

In a video posted to his verified instagram account, Mr Otse stated that the conflict is politically inclined and the State Governor was not the one who sued the Oba,neither was he the motivator of the claimant.

He went further to add that every smart thinking individual would know that the Governor is aware that Edo indigenes would stay loyal to the monarch and having a conflict with the Oba is tantamount to him losing his political relevance in the State. 

“A governor who wishes to hand over to his person when he leaves office, would not want to have a conflict with the Oba”, he said.

He urged individuals interested in the matter to look for the person(s) instigating the palace chiefs against the monarch.
