Party goers might not be happy reading this article, as the most exciting aspects of every event is the “item 7”.

“Nothing tastes better than the smoky party jollof rice and fried beef. No matter your expertise at cooking, your homemade jollof can never taste like those served in parties” . Those are statements you will usually hear from party lovers. And honestly, there is something about eating foods which you have not personally prepared. Some people would say, it tastes better when you were not there during its preparation.

After reading this article, you should decide whether or not you want to continue enjoying those yummy meals served at birthdays, funerals, weddings and get-together’.

People organize parties for different reasons. Be it for celebration of life, passing of an individual, child birth, and sacrifice related, amongst others.

However, this article is about the “sacrifice related” reason for hosting a party.

It became paramount to publish this article when we received a very pathetic email from a lady who would like to remain anonymous, about a certain wealthy man and philanthropist who throw big parties regularly , but not for the right reasons.

How Tony Kabaka Adun Crumbled My Business and Sent Me Back To My Village

The lady in question was a staff member at one of the several businesses owned by a certain “big man”.

Her aunt is an established caterer with business of over 20 employees. She has been contracted several times to cater for guests at the parties of the said big man.

But something recurrently happens each time the assorted meals are being prepared.

The big man comes to the kitchen area like a playful little boy and dips a spoon inside the pot of food and he eats. At first it looked harmless and just like a party host curious to see if the food his guests would be served is palatable.

But as the years go by and the big man repeats the same actions, the caterer began sensing something was amiss.

The caterer during a visit to her ancestral village told her father, who is a traditionalist about her client and his habit of bringing a particular silver spoon to take a bit of food from each pot.

Alas! It was revealed that the big man was purchasing the health and wealth of any/everyone who would eat out of the food. He had been instructed by a dibia to feed hundreds of people yearly, under his roof, as a way of sustaining his wealth and health.

Whoever eats from his food will never oppose him and who ever “repeatedly” eat from the food will be his foot stool to the great beyond. In other words, he cannot pass away until all those eating from him have passed away. It was a charm of longevity.

In general the big man was a good man and had done the charm only to protect himself and not to harm others.

The caterer told her niece of what she has found out, since she also works in one of the businesses he owns.

The niece has since stopped working for the said big man, but her aunt still caters for his numerous parties.

The charm might be for the protection of “Mr Big Man” , but there will definitely be an adverse effect on the party guests enjoying the different arrays of local and intercontinental dishes served at these parties.
