A Europe based Nigerian woman woke up to some August visitors in her kitchen, apparently sent by her village people.
In a video posted online, the visibly frightened woman recorded the errie sight of medium size snails crawling all over her kitchen.
She was shocked, and wondered where they came from and how they found their way into her kitchen.
Some snails had crawled into the kitchen cabinets, the door , dish drying rack and some were crawling about the tiled floor.
The video posted on blogs drew the attention of social media users, with some insinuating that the woman may have bought the snails and forgotten to have them stored properly.
Others slammed her for being a clout chaser, stating that there’s no possible explanation to why the snails would be there if she hasn’t bought them and brought into her kitchen.
There were several theories as to why the snails were in her kitchen. With some commenters advising that she should pray and have them burnt, as they were agents of darkness from her “village people”.
No one can say for sure how and why snails would invade a home when there was no visible entrances.
