University Admits 20 Students As It Introduces Bachelors Degree In Witchcraft

The University of Zambia has commenced a degree program in Witchcraft, which is fully backed by  UNESCO. The organisation has directed 340,000 USD to develop the program which has recorded its first intake of 20 students.

Students will not only be taught the theoretical aspect of witchcraft, but also  trained in practical and required to bewitch people.

In a statement made by the Zambia National Commission for UNESCO, the purpose of the program is to safeguard Intangible Heritage, which encompasses the practise of witchcraft, knowledge, skills, rituals etc.

Former minister Katele Kalumba is assigned to oversee the program as  Dean for the Department of Intangible Heritage.

Dr. Charles Ndakala, the Zambia National Commission for UNESCO Secretary General, lamented that regardless of the move in safeguarding the cultural heritage, there was still  a high record in the destruction of very precious culture heritage whose value cannot be determined.
