There was pandemonium earlier today when a trailer crushed a woman and a child to death at an illegal road block mounted by the Nigeria police at Onitsha

According to an Eye witness, the incident happened at Owerri road where police mounted
a road block (extortion point) .
A trailer driver in a bid to avoid being extorted by the police lost control and ran into the woman.
