Secrets From The Girls Hostel Of The University Of Benin

It is no doubt that Nigerian girls like to live above their income, majority live off borrowing, a fake

life style, poor at home but rich on campus.

University of Benin is one of the leading universities in Nigeria, as expected it comes with lots of ''razz mataz'' but this post will be pointed mainly at the hidden secrets  of the girls hostel.

The University of Benin as at 2012 had two very popular female hall of residence, Hall 1 and Hall 2.

Which comprises of a car park (which major parties and shows where being held).

The car park was also a hanging place where ''runz'' girls stroll around at night and await

visitors, mostly men!

You would find exotic  cars from 8pm till dawn, waiting to pick up girls. Some coming and others going. There should be fashion police stationed at the car park of the Uniben girls hostel, cos you would find all sort of outfits, colour riot and colour blocking.

Undergraduate male students usually called ''arrow'' because they were usually persistent
when they were after a girl and had little or no money.

There is the ''gutter love'' you heard it right- love in the gutter, by Hall 1 girls and undergraduate

boys who had room mates ranging from 6 to 12, so had no where to take his girl, so would rather

help himself in the gutters around the car park.

And yes, there were the big undergraduate boys who lived off campus in an area called Ekosodin, who

were  seen every night at the car park, that you would believe they had a room
in the girl's hostel.

Oh, the long queues for water, frequent fights and stealing of buckets were a norm.

Did they say girls gossip? spend one hour in the car park of the girls hostel and see for yourself.

There was a group of ''runz'' girls who were said to be members of a cult, they bullied everyone

in the hostel, they smoked in the car park in groups and were in charge of organizing girls
who attend parties hosted by the governor of the state, these group of girls where big pimps and
everyone wanted to be their friend- but who born you?

They usually organized girls for an ex governor whoes name started with L and had a guest house.

And yes, there was a notorious clergy ''catholic priest'' who was known to always visit the car park to pick up girls, his name starts with I.

Girls stealing clothes at night from the lining, stealing under wears from bathrooms.

''girls sabi forget pant for bathroom sha! one day dem go bath forget the main thing there''

If we keep talking about Hall 1 and Hall 2 car park, we will forget to talk about the common room,

''other room'' and bathroom

And yes, many lecturers ''Nicodemously'' comes to girls hostel at the dead of the night to pick

up girls to help themselves, and what does the girl gets? of course high grades.

Some will rather do ''runz'' and then pay the lecturers ''blocking'' money to pass their course.

There were some courses in the social sciences, department of banking and finance which you would

never pass except you blocked a particular lecturer whose name started with A.
