Free Universities and Scholarship Opportunities In Europe Open For Nigerians 2023

Ever thought of traveling abroad to study? Then this article is for you. Many people dream of studying overseas but are afraid to take a leap further due to financial constraints.

Tertiary education in Nigeria and Africa at large is not so attractive. Incessant strike action by the academic union and university commission cause students to spend 5-7 years in a 4-year course. Some are even forced to drop out as a result of frustration. There has been incidents of students turning into criminality during long periods of strike.

A few students who manage to graduate at the stipulated time are usually from elite families, who can afford to send their children to expensive private universities in Nigeria. An average Nigerian family cannot afford the tuition fee of a private tertiary institution, which runs into millions of Naira. Some private universities cost as much as 3 million Naira per semester. Only the bourgeoisie’s and children of politicians attend these schools.

Information is power ! And that’s a type of power that an average person living in Nigeria lacks. This is mainly because of limited resources and access to the internet.
