We've heard of girls who go to their ex boyfriends and sugar daddies to solicit funds for their wedding, but what a young lady told our correspondent in Ibadan is shocking!.
Platinum Nite club, Awolowo area, Ibadan is a hub of fun and night life is very bubbly in this South Western State of Nigeria.
The Story Teller Blog correspondent decided to pay a visit to the fun place, which is a must-turn-up for young adults looking to enjoy their weekends in Ibadan.
Unsurprisingly, the Platinum club was packed full with fun lovers, it was Friday, and it's the yuletide season, there were not less than 300 persons drinking, eating and catching up with friends.
There were bouncers in and outside the club whose chest seem like they have been pumped with air, waiting to throw out any guest who would attempt to disrupt the peace.

A few men from the Nigeria Police Force were also sighted about 50 metres away, stopping and searching ''mostly'' boys who they felt looked suspicious.
The club had an MC who looked more of a rap artist, but was making effort to carry the crowd along.
And of course, there were lots of girls! some in company of their spouse, friends, ''partners'' and some with much older men, who were probably their ''benefactor''.
Like you would expect from every venue packed full with fun seekers, there were girls lined up on the adjoining streets, opposite the club, with some finding their way in to better showcase themselves to prospective ''customers''.
Among these was a beautiful, chubby young woman who we approached to tell us ''what goes down'' in and around the bar.
A few we had earlier approached were not only hostile but gave us the insult of our lives; they saw us taking pictures of them from the opposite side of road before we approached them.
Bola (not real name) the chubby beauty who agreed to speak with us, on the condition we give her 2K- Two thousand Naira( approximately $7) told us she is engaged to be married, and her wedding has been fixed for the second week of January.
She actually reached into her hand bag and showed us what she said was an engagement ring!
Bola informed us, she lives with her fiance at Ikorodu, Lagos State, but usually come to Ibadan every weekend since November, to make money which she gives to her boyfriend for safe keeping.
''They are raising money to finance their dream wedding and hire a two bedroom flat which they intend to move into after their wedding, they currently occupy a room in a passage house''.
She said she has raised 150,000 Naira, which is not way near the amount they need to cover the cost of their plan.
We asked if her fiance was aware of what she's doing and why he can't personally find the money to marry her.
She laughed hysterically and said '' It's him that sent me ni, where he will find the money? he is bus driver and not make plenty money''.
She told us it was better for her to indulge in the ''street act'' than for her fiance to go and rob or kidnap.
''e better pass make he go do kidnapping or thief ni''
We asked if she would stop going on the street after raising money for her wedding.
''i go stop, but i go first make small thing to open small business first'', she said.
We asked where she usually passed the night after the ''night's work''.
She told us there was no night, that customers would usually take them all through the night, and when there were no customers, she would go pass the night at a friend's who was into the same business and lived in Apete area of Ibadan.
We spoke to her about the dangers of the trade, asked if she was not scared of getting infected with diseases or even been killed by one of her customers.
She said she has never taken that into consideration, she went further to say,''only small pikin dey carry disease, we dey protection ourself''.
We asked that she tell us more about her fiance, how she met him and what prompted him to send her on such a ''mission''. We also asked that she shows us his picture if she had any.
She let us have a glimpse of him on her phone, they've been dating for about 8 months. She boarded his bus last year from Berger to Ikeja, he asked for her phone number, that was how they kicked off.
A photo of them together, you would think they were just normal couples. But these two were far from normal!

When STB correspondent tried to tell her there's a possibility she was only being used by her fiance and he would probably not marry her. She was vexed and stopped talking to us.
We apologised for trying to err our opinion , we asked how much she earned every night, but she refused to speak further, asking for more money for further talks.
We let her go, as we were not ready to give any more cash to her.
The revelation of Bola though shocking, is fast becoming a trend . It is absurd that some girls would go extra mile to have a wedding, most times, because their friends had one.
Isn't that the height of desperation?
Her bride price will probably be paid from the money which she made from selling her bod... That's if the so called fiance won't abscond with the money after she has raised enough for his greedy ambition.
