Desperate Woman Attempts To Set Boyfriend Ablaze In Edo State, Nigeria

Did they say hell has no furry like a scorned woman? Well, this best describes the story a Story Teller Blog follower narrated to us and instructed that we share, so other men can take caution.

To protect the identity of the parties involved, we would be using aliases, however, location and timing of the event remains unchanged.

Master Jonathan resides in the G.R.A axis of Benin City, living in a well furnished two bedroom apartment and cruising a fairly clean Toyota Camry 2013 model, he would pass for what the street terms ''big boy''.

Jonathan has good looks and of course  little money to throw around, as he claims to be a web designer and app developer. Living not very far from the Benson Idahosa University, one could easily figure out where he ''cast his net'' when fishing for the opposite gender.

Well, Jonathan not only has a girlfriend from the university but also dates a single mom who lives in the same compound with him. He claims to love them both, the ''neighbouring girlfriend'' Sarah, from Akwa Ibom, he says is very hospitable, she brings him delicious meal often and would sometimes clean his flat, fix his dirty laundry and ''his dirty dirty''.

Jonathan lives in the front flat downstairs, while Sarah and her 3-year-old daughter lives on the  top floor flat directly over head that of Jon, the apartment was rented for Sarah by her married boyfriend, who sees her more or less as a second wife/mistress.

When Sarah's man comes visiting and they are doing ''the dirty'' Jon claims he usually hear them from his bedroom.
Jon informed us that Sarah is aware and OK with him dating the BIU undergrad, but the later is not aware of Sarah.

Anyway, that's not the gist, the Benson Idahosa University Undergrad came to Jon on a particular Sunday in September to inform him she's carrying his baby. They both went to a medical laboratory along Ekewan road, Benin City, where is was confirmed that girlfriend B is actually pregnant.

''i don't know what they were thinking oh'' but they decided to keep the pregnancy, with Jon promising to marry girlfriend B as soon as she graduates.

Jonathan got home that evening to inform Sarah of his girlfriend's pregnancy, to his amazement, or to his fear, her face was expressionless, she only said ''it's OK na''.

He claimed they even spent that night together in her apartment, the next week was her daughter's 3rd birthday, he paid a caterer to bake his ''step daughter'' or whatever a ''my girlfriend's daughter is called'' a nice cake.

December 2nd, he was shocked when Sarah came to him claiming she was carrying his baby, at first he thought it was a joke, but she made it clear she had actually missed her monthly flow.

Although she has a married benefactor, she insisted Jon was responsible for her pregnancy, Jonathan knew better than to argue with her.

The next day, he took her to Option One, a restaurant/bar not far from the area where they reside, they had a nice time, thereafter he suggested that they terminate the ''unwanted'' pregnancy.

Sarah cried her eyes out, but eventually accepted to do as her boyfriend had suggested and they planned to get rid of it at a clinic around the same area he took girlfriend B to a laboratory for test.

Five days ago, December 15, 2018 he woke up to the smell of burning mattress, it was around 10:15 pm, he claimed it was probably ''the holyspirit'' that woke him up, his apartment was covered in smoke, he was choking, ran to the living room and realised his sofa was in flame, but for some reasons unknown to him the fire was not severe and he didn't need the help of neighbours or the fire fighting service to put it out.

When he ran out of his apartment, he went to his ''neighbouring girlfriend'' to narrate the incident to her, he claimed she said ''you never even see anything, wetin i go use your eye take see, you go find die you nor go see''.

Jonathan has since left his apartment and presently squatting with a friend at upper Adesuwa Road, Benin City.

After patiently listening to Mstr Jon's story, we had a few questions for him; how sure he was it was Sarah who ignited the fire and not a faulty wire or cigarette.
He said there was no power  at that time and he never smokes neither would he have mistakenly drop a cigarette but-t.

The Story Teller Blog also asked how sure he was it was an attempt on his life, and if it was, why he has not gone to report the incident  at the police station.
He said he was very sure it was her, that while their relationship was rosy she had at some point threatened to burn him alive if he ever broke her heart.

He said he would have his friend arrange a meeting to ''settle their matter'' so he can be safe again.
But at the moment, girlfriend A and B are still ''very much'' pregnant.
