A family is yet to come to terms with what would have been a tragedy, after their infant son slipped from the hands of the catholic priest into the baptismal font.
The family of the infant, his godparents where standing beside the priest to witness the once in a life time ceremony when the priest lost grip of the baby.
The godmother is seen to have handed the child to the priest, not envisaging what could go wrong barely minutes later.
The priest places the infant in the baptismal font and blesses his head with water, but the ceremony took an unprecedented turn when the priest lost his grip on the baby, allowing the child slip from his hands.
The baby screams hysterically as it face plants into the baptismal font as its parents and family look on in horror.
The godmother quickly grabs the baby and hands him back to its mother as she tries to comfort and cradle him in a duvet.
