How To Lighten Your Skin Naturally With Home Made Products

It is no news that in this side of the world, people tend to define beauty as being slim, tall and light complexioned.
Be informed that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, black is beautiful, yet they say being light skinned is attractive.

We are taking you through easy steps to naturally lighten your skin evenly, without those monster-ish sun burn, dark knees and knuckles.

Spending lots of money on expensive creams containing hydroquinone ,which is the usual bleaching agent found in all skin lightening creams will not only have a long time adverse effect, but also expose you to skin cancer.

Follow these easy steps to lighten your skin naturally without side effect:

Ingredients: Lemon, Potash (Ikaun)

1) Grind potash to powder form
2)Squeeze lemon juice into the ground potash powder
3)Apply this mixture on your knees and knuckles

Since the knees, knuckles and toes are the toughest part of the skin, you have to start this remedy
from these parts of your skin for at least 3 days before proceeding to other parts of your body.

4)Leave the mixture on your skin for about 45 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
5)Apply your regular cream or moisturizer on your skin after this process, as the lemon can leave
your skin dry.

Gonorrhoea Vaccine

Sscientists in New Zealand say study of 15,000 young people, published in the Lancet, showed infections were cut by about a third.

This is coming after the World Health Organisation in a recent publication said that the infection was fast becoming a challenge as antibiotics seemed to have minimal effect in treating the infection. WHO expressed worry as many developing countries have reported that their last resorts no longer worked against the bacteria.

“These cases may just be the tip of the iceberg since systems to diagnose and report untreatable infections are lacking in lower-income countries where gonorrhoea is actually more common,” WHO expert, Teodora Wi, said in Geneva. With over 78 million people affected every year, WHO says that a vaccine might be the last solution to combating the bacteria since antibiotics had failed. Scientists say that the human body unlike in other infections, does not build resistance no matter how many times a person is infected.

According to BBC, the vaccine, originally developed to stop an outbreak of meningitis B, was given to about a million adolescents in New Zealand between 2004 and 2006. Researchers at the University of Auckland analysed data from sexual health clinics and found gonorrhoea cases had fallen 31% in those vaccinated. The bacterium that causes meningitis, Neisseria meningitidis, is a very close relative of the species that causes gonorrhoea – Neisseria gonorrhoeae. It appears the Men B jab was giving “cross-protection” against gonorrhoea. Dr Helen Petousis-Harris, one of the researchers, said:

“This is the first time a vaccine has shown any protection against gonorrhoea. “At the moment, the mechanism behind this immune response is unknown, but our findings could inform future vaccine development.” Protection seemed to last about two years. Gonorrhoea is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Many people have no symptoms. Men may have burning with urination, discharge from the private area, or testicular pain

3-Storey Building Collapses In Imo State, Nigeria

A three-storey building under construction collapsed, yesterday, in Umuguma, Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.
An unspecified number of people were said to have been trapped in the debris, as sympathisers were not allowed close to the scene. The collapsed building, which is located near Imo State Specialist Hospital and Imo Foundation premises, became a Mecca of sorts, as people trooped to the scene of the incident. Meanwhile, officials of Owerri Capital Development Authority, OCDA, have sealed the premises. An eye witness told Vanguard at the scene of the incident that they heard a loud noise and when they came out to check what the matter  was, they discovered that it was the building that collapsed. “It is shocking that what anybody can see of the three-storey building is the roof, which is now resting on the ground.

It just looks like a big hole was dug under the building and the entire edifice sank,” the man recounted. On whether he can guess the number of people trapped in the building, the man said: “We know that a number of people usually stay in the building but nobody can say exactly how many are trapped.”

Five members of a family died after a meal in the sleepy rural Umuokpara Umanu, Obollo community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

The deceased are Mr. Vitalis Nwosu, his wife, Obianuju, and their three children, Chinonso, Chinasa and Odimnobi. Vanguard gathered that Mrs. Obianuju Nwosu served the family jollof rice, which she prepared for dinner, and not long after they started experiencing stomach ache, stooling and vomiting.

A villager recounted the incident: “The children were the initial complainants and their parents quickly moved them to a nearby private hospital (names withheld). Every effort made to save them failed as they died one after the other.” According to reports from the community, Mr. and Mrs. Nwosu later came down with the same symptoms and were rushed to a hospital in Owerri, but they also died.

A villager noted that two other members of the family, who also took part in the meal survived, adding that “the remains of the deceased have been deposited at Adam Mortuary, Ugiri.” Reacting to the incident, the deceased’s first son, Mr. Chukwuemeka Nwosu, told newsmen that he was not at home when the incident occurred.

While urging the security agencies to thoroughly investigate the incident, Chukwuemeka also said that he suspected foul play. He alleged that his parents and siblings must have been poisoned by a relation over a protracted family matter.

Although the traditional ruler of Amaukwu autonomous community, Eze Akwagbulem G. Anayochukwu, was not at home when Vanguard visited, a man close to the palace confirmed the incident. He also confirmed that the royal father had visited the Police and the family.
