A less than one month old marriage has hit the rocks, after bride found out that her husband lied that he was rich and based in America .

The flamboyant marriage that took place on Easter Sunday 2024 at IsuochiUmumneochi Local Government Area, Abia State, was a talk of the town crumbled very fast like a pack of cards.

Nancy, the bride, an hardworking lady loved her husband and was going to spend the rest of her with him. 

However, things didn’t go as planned, when Nancy figured out he was deported from the United States and was going to live permanently in the village.

She also found out that the money spent on the marriage ceremony was put together by his family members.

Despite the plea from family members on both sides, Nancy has made up her mind to end the marriage, except he husband is going back to the US.
