Ace Comedian and Actor, Ayo Makun, otherwise known as Comedian AY, has again raised the dust by the not so affectionate birthday wishes he posted on his estranged wife, Mabel Makun’s birthday.
In a post on his verified instagram account the comedian referenced to the celebrant as “ the industrious mummy Ayomide and mummy Michelle”.
Ayomide and Michelle are the second and first daughters of the estranged couple.
Fans of the Comedian took to the comments section of the post, criticizing the actor for only referring to Mabel as mother of his children and not his wife.
His post only fueled the rumors of the alleged separation of the couple.
TMO editor reached out to a friend of the couple who is privy of the details of the separation. It was alleged that the couple had been separated since the year 2020. Even before the birth of their youngest daughter, they were separated but living together, while trying to savage the marriage. It was during this period Mabel got pregnant of Ayomide.
Friends and family members thought the arrival of the baby would strengthen the marriage. It was alleged that Comedian Alibaba, AY’s mentor tried to intervene but his efforts were unsuccessful. As both parties have accused each other of infidelity.

Our source alleged that the couple are only keeping their separation low key because of media scrutiny. “Pay attention to the post Mabel makes occasionally on her IG, she’s trying to let the world know she was going through DV, but no one is listening”, our source added.
