Three Nigeria nationals have been arrested by law enforcement in connection to a robbery in Misrata, Libya.
The gang is alleged to have robbed the residence of an expatriate before being arrested by a team on a routine patrol from the General Directorate of Security Operations, Libya and thereafter handed over to the police.
The news of the arrest was made public by the Migrant Rescue Watch via their social media account.
“Patrol of General Directorate of Security Operations arrested 3 migrants of Nigerian nationality for armed robbery of expatriate workers residence. The accused were handed over to police authorities for legal action” , they tweeted.
