Men of the Zone 7 Police Command, Abuja FCT on Wednesday the 5th of April 2023 arrested three suspected r!tual!st operating fake churches and a shrine in Abuja and environs.
The suspects who specializes in using charms and hypnosis on their victims are between the ages of 24 and 32.
The r!tual!st gang were arrested at Jikwoyi and Orozo axis, near Kari, Abuja.
Two boys of age 11 and 13 who are believed to be their victims were rescued during the police raid at their hideout.
Parading the suspects and addressing members of the press, the Abuja police command Zone 7 spokesperson confirmed the operation and recovery of three empty coffins, a Toyota Prado SUV , a Lexus 330 car and 15 mobile phones at the hideout.
Clothing items and underwear belonging to their deceased female victims were also recovered from the scene.
He further added that the suspects who voluntarily gave statements of their involvement in the fake church scheme , hypnotizing and defrauding victims within Abuja and environs, will be charged to court.
