In a shocking new twist in the case of late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (Mohbad), it has allegedly been discovered that the security cameras installed in the premises of the late singer were functioning at the time of his passing.
It should be recalled that during police investigations, the widow of Ilerioluwa has stated that the CCTV were placed in strategic positions in the home but not working.
27-year-old singer and Marlian Music signee, Mohbad passed on in September 2023 under suspicious circumstances that led to a nationwide outcry for justice.
More than 160 days after his passing, the remains of the singer is yet to be buried. Reports of autopsy conducted by the Nigeria Police have not released to the family of the deceased nor the general public.
At the time of passing, Mohbad and his wife Wumi had an infant son whose paternity is still being questioned by the father of deceased , Mr Joseph Aloba.
With so much controversy surrounding the demise of Ilerioluwa, friends, relatives and well meaning Nigerians can only hope for a thorough investigation into the case and justice be served.
So many questions remain unanswered. Having the security camera footage will shed light on what transpired during the last days of Mr Ilerioluwa.
