Nigerian billionaire and Africa’s richest woman, Madam Folorunsho Alakija has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband of 30 years.
The successful businesswoman is said to have sent her husband out of their Ikoyi, Lagos home, with Mr Modupe Alakija forced to find an alternative abode.
It was reported by The Will, the couple who have been together for 3 decades have been going through turbulent times in their marriage, with Mrs Alakija demanding utmost privacy and sending Modupe packing out of their highbrow mansion in Ikoyi.
Sources close to the couple revealed that all has not been well in the marriage for the past few years, but the Alakijas only put up a united front because of their societal status.
