My Best friend Had A Baby For My Husband, Now She Wants Me Dead - Nigerian Woman Cries Out

This is a sad story of jealousy, hatred and betrayal between educated women, who were supposed to empower each other, but choose to pull down, destroy and kill.

When Jessica- not real name, reached out to the Story Teller Blog to share her story, we were sceptical to publish the rather saddening encounter she had with her erstwhile friend.
Sending us pictures, snapshot of conversations she had with her former best friend, we decided to share her story, for women to learn a lesson from her situation.

Jessica first met Tracy- not real name, through a mutual friend who was her neighbour. They bonded quickly, since they were all Nigerians. living in Greece, far away from home, they saw each other as brothers.

Tracy worked as a house keeper in a hotel, while studying at a private university in the country, while Jessica bought used clothes in wholesale which she exported to Nigeria for sale, doubling as a university student in the same country.

Jessica was industrious, smart and lucky or rather blessed. Her export business flourished, she would make shipment 4 to 5 times a month to Nigeria. She travelled around Europe for academic events and being loud, she never failed to tell her best friend how beautiful the countries she visited looked, how much it was better living there than Greece, little did she know she was sowing the seed of envy in the heart of Tracy.

Tracy in a bid to keep her head up or compete with Jessica, applied for a visa to one of the countries which Jessica visited, but her application was rejected, this only made her already envious heart grow into hatred for Jessica. As Nigerians on a student visa in Greece, they required a visa to visit other European countries.

In one of the trips, Jessica had met a young man, who would later become her husband. They had a baby, were preparing to travel to Nigeria for their traditional wedding, Jessica who saw Tracy as a best friend never kept any of her relationship details or plans from her pal.

Tracy was dating a young man called Joshua-not real name, who worked in the same hotel as her; working as a gardener and was also involved in other illegal businesses in the country.

Jessica returned to Greece to complete her course and earn her degree, she couldn't imagine being a university dropout, her husband had come with her, that was when he met her Tracy for the first time.

Few weeks later he left Greece back to his base country, but not before starting a romantic relationship with Tracy which Jessica was not aware.

Rumours however filtered to Jessica within the Nigerian community Athens, that Tracy was pregnant for her husband and the father of her child. She confronted her friend with her findings, which she vehemently denied.
This caused a strain in their friendship, which would later degenerate into enmity.

Jessica's husband began to make several trips to Athens to visit Tracy, he never checked on Jessica or his child during these visits.
Barely a year after Jessica had a baby, Tracy had a baby girl. It was rumoured within the Nigerian community, that Jessica's husband was the father to Tracy's daughter.

Although she however claimed that her boyfriend Joshua, who they had long broken up was the father of her child, everyone whispered in low tone a different tale.

The two friends became great enemies, wishing each other dead, but Tracy made do her promise, threatening Jessica with charms, and fabricating stories against Jessica in a bid to get her off the way, since the father of her child who is alleged to also be the father of Tracy's daughter had rekindled the friendship with Jessica.

Tracy was outraged that her ''alleged'' baby daddy (only a DNA will prove he is not the father) has gone back to his wife and she has become a subject of laughter. Since a man she stole publicly from her best friend had left her, Tracy had no other option than to wage war against Jessica, have her killed and get back to her baby daddy.

It is unfortunate young women would tear down each other, wish to destroy each other, because of a man. When the Story Teller Blog reached out to Tracy for comments on the issue, she was quick to brag, '' am not through with her yet'' before dropping  the phone on our reporter.
